Hello readers, today I will be doing my very first Game VLOG. In my own definition GAME VLOG is a process where in you show the game footage of what you want tell to your spectators instead of the usual wall of text accompanying with supported statements and images. 2 Days ago I blogged about the newest online dancing game published by Cubizone (Cubinet Interactive) called Hot Dance Party or simply STEPS developed by the giant of the Chinese Game developing industry:  Perfect World. So for this rainy Halloween i will be showing you the 2 of my favorite dance mode in STEPS The Super Love and the Sweet Love mode both of them are included in the Couple Mode dance category.

Because I can’t find any definite information about the said modes I will try to explain the difference of these two based on my understanding. Let’s start with the first one.

Sweet Love: Part of the available modes in the Couple Category so it means you need a partner of the opposite gender in this mode. If you are a player of Dance Battle Audition you will find this mode very familiar and easy.  Once the game starts you and your partner will be given the usual set of commands to key-in. Here comes the tricky part. If you and your partner attain a “PERFECT” grade after you key in some moves it will trigger a scenario called ‘SYNCHRONIZATION PERFECT’ in this mode you will be given an alternate keys instead of the usual keys.  All you need to do is to key in the keys in color blue while your partner will be responsible for the keys that are colored in gray. (Sounds familiar?) If ever you and your partner attain a “PERFECT” grade again  the SYNCHORNIZATION MODE will continue but if you attain a different grade let’s say you received a “COOL” and your partner receives a “GOOD”  the game will be back to normal.

So what are the advantages of the synchronization perfect mode? Every time you and your partner received a “Perfect” grade at the same time. You will gain a charisma. The couple with the most number of charismas in this round will be the winner. Aside from that you can unlock and see “some” amusing couple dance movement in this mode.

Super Love: Instead of having an equal amount of gender for the couple (Usual Couple Setup 1:1 e.g. Ratio 1 female is to 1 male) in this mode a gender must be greater than another gender. (X: 1). Please keep in mind that a gender must be greater in numbers than another gender or else the game won’t start.

In this game the lesser gender will be given a chance to select their partners. Just like the Sweet Love mode. The couple who attains the most number of charisma and perfect will win minus the alternate keys. You can switch partner in a certain point during the game so that your back up dancer (my make up word for a player who doesn’t have a partner) will be given a chance to gain a charisma. Aside from that you will see some funny, amusing, sensual and even sexual assaulting moves before you changed partners. I really do not know how this game mode works but one thing is for sure. This is my most favorite Game Mode. Watch this video to figure out how it works.

So what made me say that this game is  better than any other MMO Dancing game? Among the top reason is this:  THERE IS A BLOODY FREAKING WINDOW MODE! It’s legal and its part of the game! So you can do whatever you want to  or even turn the game into a music player or something while you play CASVIAN or any of your favorite MMO’s.

While checking the live feeds of my precious friends on facebook yesterday I stumbled upon this BUILD, RULE and CONQUER thingamajig The moment I clicked the link and the web page loads I was shocked to see the logo of Casvian a web browser game inside a .PH domain URL. So i visited the teaser site of the game, The campaign is quite a head turner in facebook. I’m not into browser games since I am those what you called “Eye Candy gamer” though it easily caught my attention because of the high definition graphics despite the fact that this is a flash game and playable just by using your web browser!

Inside the teaser site it features some introduction about the four races. It is quite nice to know the background of those because it will become an added factor in your role playing. Visitors here may take a quiz that will guide them to know the race where they belong based on their personality. You can choose amongst the four traditional (overused lol) races that you can see from any MMORPG. Become a Human, Elf or if your not into the looks but prefers to choose a character based on their capability or simply the role playing part become an Orc or dance to the tune of Michael Jackson’s thriller by joining the ranks of the living deads. The undeads.

Without a doubt a local version of Casvian is going to be launched here in our country. But come to think of it Cubinet Interactive Philippines or Cubizone is going to launch a web browser MMORPG? Most probably that is indeed something fresh to hear! Especially in this dog eats dog MMORPG market.

Anyway Casvian is a web browser mmorpg that focuses in the elements of war, real time strategy and simulation without leaving out the RPG elements of an online game at the same time play it as if you are playing your favorite web browser flash game in a social networking site. Players can log into the game’s website without needing high requirements of a computer. No hassle to start the game at any point without downloading a huge chunks of file. It’s been two years since i played an online dancing game. The two years hiatus from casual rhythm dancing games must be a part of the dark ages of my life. Actually I was a player of dance battle audition since it’s closed beta test on it’s mother country the land of the kimchi and when I found out that it will be published locally in the pearl of the orient. My happiness thermometer explodes! But there is a time to quit and forget all about it. I quit the virtual dancing scene and moved into a bigger picture. However there will be times that your fingers or ear will crave for a sensational audio therapy the problem is you are not willing to go back. You don’t want to force yourself listening to a foreign music for a long period of hours right.

Anyway I’ve been playing this online dancing game for a couple of days now as a fearless forecast this game will surely make your previous dancing game a run for their money. Why? Because it has their very own “definition” of the best of the best feature of  those  korean dancing MMO’s

Hot Dance Party or simply STEPS is the latest addition of Cubizone (Cubinet Interactive) on their casual game roster for the international market. Developed by Perfect World Entertainment the guys who made Zhu Xian, Red Cliff or Perfect World you name it! STEPS is a game that allows you to become a star of your own show. Become what you want to be online. You can enjoy dancing and even navigating around an eye candy 3d environment, Enjoy a variety of background music ranging from different genres and language. You can dress up with a wide selections of clothes that incorporates the latest fashion trend. You can even totally personalize your appearance since they adapted the character customization of Perfect World (the online game). Tired of dancing alone? The game possess a wonderful pet system where in your pet is not just there for decoration purposes, they are capable to dance the same moves that you are doing. The installation of their client is a bitch so i will be leaving you with this guide. Steps International Installing Guide:

1.) Download the full installer. Yes it is way too fresh because the client will start at version at Version 1 so you need to download all the manual patch. Manual patch from Version 1-50. I really don’t get the point of downloading all the patch where you can just upload an updated client because it will save our precious time to patch it from 1 – 50.

2.) Auto patching is not advisable for the reason that the auto patch server is too slow. BUT! Even though you are going to do a manual patching. You are still required to experience the pain of AUTO PATCHING! A word of warning the 33 MB to 35 MB patch from version 8-9 took me 12 Hours to finish. Yes the auto patching is ULTRA slow usually I can download a 1.25GB file in just 2 hours. Once it’s done continue the manual patch up to 50.

Build, Rule and Conquer so whats the next step? Will you take the lead? Oh wait? Am I seeing this right? Yes it is! Cubinet Interactive Philippines Inc’s Cubizone one of the newest MMORPG game publisher in the country just launched the teaser site of Casvian a popular browser based online MMORPG. Probably the first online gaming publisher in the country to have a web browser based game in their roster. What I mean “browser game” is that there will be no installation required! You can enjoy playing in a pleasant 3D environment minus the suffering of your disk space! Think about your favorite facebook flash game entered the path of serious online gaming. Isn’t that amazing.

I actually tried the International version and I just found out that even though Casvian is an actual MMORPG it does have the factor of your typical flash game! Yes you can AFK to perform some real life task while you wait for your characters/heroes to do a certain activity. Basically in the game you BUILD some structures that will give you the ability to have some units to train or skill to use. Another task is to RULE your kingdoms and territories. Owning a single kingdom puts the bore into boredom that’s when the CONQUER part takes place. It’s like you’re typical real time strategy game set in the middle earth.

Join the walks of any of the four available racers. The Humans, The Elves The Undead, the Orcs. I suggest that if you want a FULL ROLE PLAYING FACTOR in Casvian. You must take the test in the teaser site.

The CBT ended and just like the traditional standard operation procedure in an MMO the Open Beta Phase will follow and of course there will be no wipe outs. So I was motivated to play the first English version of Chi Bi (Red Cliff) brought t us by Cubizone (Cubinet Interactive). Once again my virtual counterpart landed in Tao Yuan or peach village to start my journey as a struggling pugilist turned into an aspiring warrior of the kingdom of your choice. I arrived in Tao Yuan and as expected those Country Emissary NPC whose responsible for giving you the Country Card isn’t there. Most probably they are busy CC-ing (changing channel) or enjoying their vacation in their respective kingdoms. In my experience during the CBT test the GM’s needs to manually summon the said entities in front of you.

I just realized why do you need the country card in the first place? If the publisher is giving away a mouth watering newbie pack that will never fail to help you in your first 9 days in the game. The item includes a set of “violet named” equipment set minus the weapon with a very nice stats, some sets of potions, a whooping Yellow Mane Mount that you can use once you acquired the riding skill at level 20 (Yes a mount it will spare you for around 20 Golds once you hit that level!) and for eye candy purposes an uber cool costume that shows the nobility out of you. Last but not the least an item of some sort that will allow you to get some accessory that gives you EXP+100% for 3 hours if you equipped it. All you need to do is to show that item to Ms. Perfect Gift envoy and she will give you that thing. Such a nice package to start your adventures isn’t it?

Check out this 1 press of a button to kick the enemies ass by using the Action Feature of Red Cliff.

Questing is a crucial part in your game play. Based on my experience in training my character from level 1 to 20. Most of the time you will do your quest. Such as the tradition kill the monster, bring me seek me, craft me this and that and oh there is even a PRISON BREAK portion upon reaching the Xiliang Area. Say hello to the legendary Ma Chao at that place anyway!

Much as I want to play and explore this game, I can’t due to time constraints for now. But maybe in some other time and if I did I will keep you guys updated. For those who are interested n playing an epic historical based online rpg just logged on to http://redcliff.cubizone.com
